Brain, behaviour and genetics in eating disorder recovery (ESTRA)
How to take partAbout the study
The ESTRA study combines brain imaging, genetics, environmental, and psychological data in order to better understand mental health and brain structure and function.
Some of the aims of ESTRA are to:
1. Understand the causes of eating disorders and their associated behaviours
2. Understand links between eating disorders and other disorders
3.Identify markers that may predict eating disorder onset
What will it involve?
Part 1 (~1.5 hours)- Completion of three online questionnaires
Part 2 (~1.5 hours) – An online interview
Part 3 (~5 hours) – An in-person study visit
