How to take partAbout the study
This research aims to explore how autistic people experience social touch, like hugging. The goal is to create educational resources and recommendations based on evidence to enhance understanding of autism and assist non-autistic individuals in engaging appropriately with autistic individuals during social touch interactions.
What will it involve?
1) Participants will be involved in an online body painting experiment that explores the perception of social touch.
2) Participants will answer demographic questions and share their social touch experiences through multiple-choice and open-ended questions.
