Eating Away At Me - An Exploration of Lived Experience of Binge Eating Disorder
How to take partAbout the study
I will be investigating the lived experiences of people who have suffered from Binge Eating Disorder. My aims are to understand where stigma comes from, and how it affects people with the disorder, in order to improve treatment.
I also aim to change policies to impact the support that people with BED receive. We need to change the system from the ground up.
What will it involve?
You will be asked to participate in two of three tasks. A fictional diary entry written in your own time, an interview at a time that works for us both, and a drawing task which needs to be in-person at Solent University in Southampton.
