About the study

This study hopes to achieve a better understanding of self-harm in young Pakistani women. Ultimately, the goal is to improve prevention and treatment strategies for self-harm in Pakistani women.

What will it involve?

One confidential semi-structured interview with myself. This can be done in person or over the phone/skype. The interview will be audio recorded and later transcribed. During the interview I would like to hear about your experiences of self-harm in your family and the factors that influenced it, along with the help-seeking behaviour that your family member engaged in or would have liked to.
