About the study

Please note that we are asking only for participants from the UK for this study. The study aims to explore your decision on whether to tell (or not tell) others about your experience of having nude/sexual images shared without their consent. The study will look at whether you chose to tell others and who. If you have told others, it will look at what this was like. By understanding these experiences of not telling or telling others, the research aims to identify and address any barriers to seeking support and to learn from good/bad experiences. This can then help improve support for others who have experienced this.

What will it involve?

The study will involve an online interview. This will ask about why you chose to tell others or not tell others about having had nude or sexual images shared without your consent. If you decided to tell others (e.g. friends/family, support organisations or the police) this will ask you about what this was like.
